Meditation and Mindfulness

Research shows that meditation and mindfulness is an effective way of quickly wiping away overload and restoring a sense of calm, inner peace, and balance.

It’s particularly beneficial during times of stress, anxiety, worry, sadness, or depression.

Bringing yourself back and being in the moment, is great for your emotional wellbeing and your overall health.

These benefits don’t end when your meditation session ends, as it can help you carry through the days ahead more calmy.

The technique of mindfulness is also widely acclaimed for helping to cope with the symptoms of certain medical conditions and their treatment.

Meditation is perhaps the simplest, cheapest way for managing the journey of life.

So, what are you waiting for?

We have speciality meditation teachers ready to help you in our regular classes or intensive short courses.

Himalayan Meditation

This is our regular pure meditation class held twice a week incorporating iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation.

The revered practice of Himalayan Meditation is highly regarded and includes teachings inspired by Himalayan Yogis and their direct experiences.

Combining a series of different contemplations, participants can move into the vast space of the mind to open their spiritual gateway, achieving inner liberation and freedom.

iRest Yoga Nidra® Meditation

The meditation of iRest® Yoga Nidra is a deeply healing practice of self-inquiry based on the ancient teachings of Yoga.

It’s arguably the easiest and most supportive way to access a deep state of meditation, perfect for complete beginners and cherished by the experienced.

This meditation is typically practiced lying down, to induce a deeply relaxed state in which participants are infused with a sense of well-being enabling them to meet and heal life’s various unresolved issues, traumas, or challenges.

Classes are available on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am.

Yoga Meditation:

Pain Free Body & Mind Somatics with iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation

Find long-lasting release of chronic muscle tension, increase your range of motion, and relieve stiffness and pain through conscious somatic movements incorporating iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation.

Somatic movement reprograms the muscles and reconnects forgotten neural pathways so that chronic tension can release and allow the muscles to lengthen.

It’s great for anyone moving with pain, whether that has become your default mode, or if you have just done some tough exercise and have body soreness.

Somatic movements are easy to learn, and you can practise them every day to ensure that your body feels better and better over time.
