Information provided by Yoga Spirit Studios staff, newsletters and web content is generic in nature and we take no responsibility for its usage. By accessing and using our website, newsletters and services you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions.

Using our services
You may use our services by casual visits, or by purchasing services in advance by booking a course, multiple class ticket or an unlimited class membership. All services purchased are for a single user.
Fees and Payments
Yoga Spirit Studios operates on a basis of prepayment for all services. All payments are to be made in AUD. All fees and prices quoted include GST.
Refunds and transfers
All passes and memberships are non-transferrable to another party, non-refundable and cannot be shared.
For pre-enrolled courses, workshops, retreats, events or any other service requiring pre-enrollment, unless otherwise stated in the event's communications, if withdrawing from that enrollment 8 or more days prior to the event, refund can be given less 5% for fees and admin, if withdrawing within 7 days of the event no refund will be given unless your place can be filled from a waitlist and any such refund will also be less 5%. There can be no refund for a no show, we must know prior to the event in order to offer any refund.
If Yoga Spirit Studios needs to cancel an event there will be a refund in full.
Expiry date extensions
Yoga Spirit Studios does not normally extend the expiry date on time limited advance purchased services. If you believe that you have exceptional circumstances that warrant an extension please discuss this with our staff. Documentation, such as a doctor’s certificate, may be required. The Studio Director will make the final decision. Yoga Spirit Studios may offer a fee to extend an expired pass or convert it to a no-expiry pass.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Unlimited Membership Policies
2 week unlimited Introductory offer is for new members only and will not be extended. The 1 month unlimited pass available to the 2 week Introductory offer holders may be extended once for only 7 days maximum.
Prepaid 3 month unlimited memberships may be suspended once for maximum of 2 weeks. Prepaid 6 month unlimited memberships may be suspended once for a maximum of 4 weeks. Prepaid 12 month memberships may be suspended twice- maximum 30days.
Monthly direct debit memberships may be suspended twice only in a 12 month period for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 30 days.
Suspensions will not be put in place without prior notice in writing to email@example.com stating the suspension dates.
No backdated suspensions are permitted.
Your personal property
The safety of your personal property while at our studio is your responsibility.
Provide us with required information
We need to have a record of our clients and when they visit us. We will ask you to provide us with:
- Your name
- Your address
- Contact numbers
- Emergency contact
- Any health issues that may have a bearing on your yoga practice. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Muscular-skeletal conditions such as scoliosis
- High or low blood pressure
- Recent surgery
- Hip replacement
- Joint or back issues
- Glaucoma, detached retina
Seek expert advice
Our teachers are well trained but are not medical practitioners. If you have any doubts about your ability to practice yoga safely you should seek expert medical advice.
Use equipment properly and follow directions
You are responsible for using our facilities and equipment properly and for returning them after use in a neat manner.
Do not spread illness
Do not use our facilities if you are suffering from a contagious illness.
Honour expiry dates
Take note of and ensure that you have used your classes prior to the expiry date and do not expect or ask that the pass be extended without a valid medical reason.
Use of facilities and equipment
To use the equipment and facilities with respect and in keeping with yogic principles of ahimsa, non-violence, asteya, not stealing, saucha, purity. To this end keep equipment clean and tidy, wipe borrowed mats after use before neat stacking, fold blankets neatly, short sides together, short sides together, short sides together and then store with the folds outward in a neat stack, and store all other equipment equally as neatly.
