Are you looking for ways to deepen your own yoga practice, or your teaching, and to experience (or lead your students to experience) a whole new level of mind-body integration?
BodySensing Yoga, or movement, offers a profound way to nourish mind and body and awaken to your innate sense of well-being.
Attuning to the sensations in your body during your yoga, or other movement practices offers a powerful gateway to connecting with the junction point between mind and body.
If we can let go of over-thinking and dive into a level of pure, experienced sensation, we begin to experience the world as it truly is and ourselves as we truly are.
In Indian cosmology, Tandava is the great cosmic dance that creates, sustains and dissolves the manifest universe as it arises from one divine source.
In the non-dual teachings of Kashmir Shaivism yoga is non-postural form of movement that develops the ability to sense into one’s essential vibratory nature. Body sensing in this system develops more refined levels of kinesthetic perception and the practitioner can sense more subtle levels of their being. Finally, the practice develops into ecstatic Tandava.
In BodySensing Yoga we may, or may not, utilise form, and sometimes this may move us to the free form, and perhaps into ecstatic dance.
