Partly it is about being tidy and keeping the studio comfortable for everyone. Partly it is also because when you use the blanket, nine times out of ten, the starting position is the “storage fold”. It is the basis for many of the supportive blanket origami of restorative yoga.
So here is how to fold a yoga blanket.
Short sides together, short sides together, short sides together.
And then you stack it, exactly on top and lined up with the one underneath, with the fold facing out.
