Be invited on a kinaesthetic exploration of your inner self as you discover how yoga can excavate body memories and how healing can be found through movement. Your inner teacher will emerge from a crysalis of deep-felt understanding of the origins of movement and of the connection of movement and feeling states.
This is not a course in difficult or showy poses and it is not about learning set sequences to show to others. It is not a fast track to certification as it takes time to integrate the deep teachings of the hatha yoga path.
You will learn through hands on experience while participating in a thorough curriculum that provides sound training in western sciences and classical hatha yoga studies. Above all, and impossible to separate from the development of your teaching, this course will deepen your connection to the spiritual roots of the practice and will light the path for a rich and rewarding journey of self-discovery.
For the 350 hours Certificate of Teaching Hatha Yoga trainees meet at non-residential weekend workshops every 3 to 6 weeks over the course of 18 months, attend classes and courses at the studio, complete online and written assignments and attend a five day residential intensive.
Those continuing on to the 500 hours Advanced Certificate of Teaching Hatha Yoga will enter into a mentoring program as well as attend additional weekend workshops, complete online and written assignments and attend a three day weekend retreat, within a six month period.
If you have a dream to embrace yoga as a way of life, to deepen your understanding of yourself and the practice, and perhaps to share it with others, then this is the course for you.
